All About Mark

I am a son, brother, friend, husband, dad, and engineer, all rolled into one.

Since September 2009, I have been a Pricinpal Software Engineer at S2 Security Coporation, creators and purveyors of IP-connected physical security controllers. Prior to that I worked at Jingle Networks on their software platform providing the 1-800-FREE411 telephone service. Before Jingle, I spent over 10 years at at Openwave Systems, Inc., the combination of Phone.com and Software.com, working on carrier-scale e-mail server software. I've been working with computers and in the computer field long enough (more than 20 years) to feel comfortable saying, "I've done it all." That is to say, I've used most everything that's been available to use in that time. I have a BA/BS in Computer Science from Clark University.

I've lived in Massachusetts all my life and grew up in Newton.

In 1995, my soul mate, Shawn, found me. She and I got married in January 1997. Our first child, Hannah, was born in June 1998. Our second child, Sarah, was born in March 2001.
